PETEY
State Route 700, Mantua, Ohio – Lost 2/14/10
Petey disappeared Sunday morning, February 14, 2010 on State Route 700 in Mantua, Ohio. He went out to do his business and never came back. This is very unlikely for him as he has always stayed in his own yard, especially since he has become less visual. We searched the neighborhood throughout the entire day, spoke to neighbors and posted signs in and around the neighborhood with a very large sign at the end of our driveway. My husband tracked his footprints in the snow and they just disappeared. Petey is a 15 year old male Boston Terrier, neutered. Petey is nearly blind and mostly deaf. He still has quite a bit of energy and he is such a good boy, very even tempered and loves children. We truly feel like someone picked him up. Petey does have a lump on his lower, right jaw and his teeth are not in the greatest of shape due to age. He has cataracts and was wearing a black collar with a silver buckle on it when he disappeared. His tags are hanging on the hook at home with his leash. We have contacted all the local veterinarian’s, the one and only shelter that is located in Portage County and even the one in Geauga County. We are all having a hard time with his absence he has always been such a huge part and presence in our family. Even the cat continues to look for him at night. If you know any info, please contact his owner Kim Sommer. (330) 527-4188 – Home, (330) 472-7386 – Cell, Email: sommer98@netzero.com
