Volunteering
I’d like to volunteer, but I’m not sure how. What do I do?
To apply to be a volunteer, please submit the Online Foster & Volunteer Application. There are many ways to give back to MWBTR, and our existing volunteers can help you find the way that fits for you.
what are some of the ways I can volunteer?
Rescue dog transport, fostering, newsletter writing/layout, home visits (virtually), social media posting/sharing, donating items (blankets, collars, leashes), event planning, sending thank yous, data management, and more!
Is there a fee to apply to be a volunteer?
There is no fee to apply to be a volunteer.
what if i have questions?
Email [email protected] and someone will respond within 24-48 hours with an answer!
what type of skill sets do you look for?
Since MWBTR runs on 100% volunteers, we need lots of backgrounds and skill sets. Everything from offering to do transport of rescued pups, to being a social media ninja for our supporter engagement team, we look for people with everything from highly technical skills (accounting, project management, web development) to soft skills and everyhing in between.
